Bye Bye L.A.!

This is it! Our final few days in California. I will be a Midwestern boy soon. Mommy and Daddy seem excited yet sad to leave, but they tell me there is a better life waiting for us in Illinois. Mommy brought me into her work yesterday to show me off. Everyone said I was adorable. I gave them my best smiles and coos. Then it was back home to finish packing. As you can tell, Madison is all ready packed and ready to go ;) My Grandpa Mark will be here in a few hours. I am excited to meet him! We are going to a going away party at Camden's house tonight. I can't wait to play with him again. He's so much fun. And this is the last time I get to play with him for awhile, so I want to make the best of it.

Monday is the day I fly for the first time. It will be so much fun! Then I will get to see my Grandma Pam and all my aunts again. I'm going to meet tons more family, too. Then its off to our new home in Naperville.

I probably won't post another blog until we are settled in Naperville. Until then, bye bye to California, hello Illinois! I am sad to leave my friends in L.A., but looking forward to meeting all my new family along the way to Chicago! I promise I'll look my cutest and try not to be too crabby for you.

Beach Bum

Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach!  It was so much fun and so beautiful.  And much cooler than Sherman Oaks.  It was a hot one this weekend!  I'm glad I got to go to the beach before we move to the Midwest.  I don't think there are palm trees there.  They took tons of pictures.  I was really happy when Mommy took pictures of Daddy and I but then I got hungry and cried through the pictures with Mommy.  Once I was fed, I was happy again and took good pictures with Mommy.   

I will be 3 months old in a few days!  I have discovered some new things in the past month, such as my hand, which I love to suck, and my feet.  I like to swing them up in the air and stare at them.  They're cool.  I wonder if they will fit in my mouth.  I also discovered I have a tongue.  I stick it out all the time.  Daddy thinks its cute.  I'm practicing on rolling over, too.  I can roll to both sides, but I am not rolling over just yet.  Maybe next month...

Moving

Its Friday again, and what a week we have had! Mommy and Daddy started packing this week for our big move. Mommy and I are going to go on an airplane. We are flying to Des Moines on May 26th and we are going to stay with Grandma Pam for a few days until we make our final move to Naperville. Grandpa Mark and Daddy are going to drive with Bailey and Madison from LA to Des Moines and then Mommy and Daddy are going to drive all of us to Chicagoland. I haven't met Grandpa Mark yet and I am excited to meet him and the rest of the family.

Our apartment is quickly becoming box heaven. Its strange to see our home all boxed up, but it will be fun to move closer to family. Bailey likes to chew on all the boxes and the carpet. Daddy says we're not getting our pet deposit back, so I will have to remember not to chew on carpet when I am older.

I also had a playdate with my buddy Camden this week. We are the cutest! I can't wait to play with him again. Look how adorable we look on his Gymini.

Popular Boy

Hello again! What a fun week I have had. We had lots of visitors this week. My Mommy's friend, Matt, from high school came by last weekend. Mommy hasn't seen him in a long time, so they had a lot to catch up on. He has a 7 month old daughter, so they still had lots in common. Mommy and Daddy's friends Paul and Heather came over on Wednesday and brought us dinner, which was yummy! And Nilda stopped by today to play with me for awhile. She's gonna have a baby, too. More playmates for me! Tomorrow I get to go play with my very first friend, Camden and I am excited. I haven't seen him in a few weeks. We don't have much more time to play. We're moving to Chicago soon and Camden is moving to Nashville with his Mommy and Daddy in June. I will miss them, but we will have to visit often.

Daddy has another trip on Monday. He's going to San Francisco for the day. He won't be staying overnight, which is nice. Mommy and I miss him a lot when he's gone. After that he only has one more trip before we move. Hopefully he won't travel so much when we're in Chicago.

I'm still cooing up a storm. Daddy is trying to get me to say "go", but I only say "guh" and only when he's in the other room ;)
