School Pics Spring 2012

Avery, age 4

How cute are we?

Berlin, age 2-1/2

The Cardinals!

Our daycare takes pictures twice a year, and as you can see, we have grown!  These are from the Spring.  Berlin is starting to overcome her shyness, and Avery is always a ham.  Unless its for T-ball and he's grumpy, then he's not having it!  The last photo was from T-ball season, with his team the Cardinals.

I hope you have enjoyed these updates.  There's more to come!  Updates coming soon (much sooner than they have been, promise).

Love, Avery and Berlin

Spring Training

Spring comes early in the South, and with the warmer weather comes warmer children who like to be SUPER NAKED!  It also means baseball is in the air.  This year Avery played T-ball for the Nolensville Rec Center.  His coach was Marty, who happened to be his friend Preston's dad.  He was a great coach!  He was tough, but showed us compassion, and taught us to be good sportsmen, who love to have fun playing baseball!  Berlin had fun, too, and is anxiously awaiting turning 4, so she can play, too!

Potty Training Update

Potty training has been going exceptionally well!  Berlin caught on quickly, and once she put on a pair of underwear, there was no going back!  She still has an occasional accident, but is otherwise completely potty trained.  Mommy and Daddy aren't sure if girls really are that much easier, or if they were that much smarter when the second one came around.  Either way, a house with no diapers has certainly been a happy house!

The Farmer in the Dell

Berlin found she loved jumping on trampolines while practicing singing.  Here she is singing, the farmer in the dell.

Always Fun Going On

Of course we have fun no matter what, and it continued through the winter.  These were taken before school one day.  We were looking our best, and ready to go learn for the day.  Avery continued to do well in pre-school, and Berlin was always the leader in her class.  She likes to help the teacher, and even showed her new teacher the ropes, which she was very grateful for, on her first day.  Berlin told her everyone's name, where everything was, and what items belonged to who.

More Birthday Parties

Birthday party season is usually pretty busy for us, but one really fun one in particular was for our friend Silas.  He was born the day after Avery, and is a cool little dude.  He had a carnival themed party, and as you can tell, silliness was had.  Avery decided a high chair was appropriate, and got stuck.  Berlin got a tattoo (hee hee), and played dress up with Daddy.  It was so much fun!

Avery Turns 4!!!

February 25, 2012 was the big day that Avery turned 4!  It was a fun day!  Avery had a birthday party with two of his other friends, Aydan and John David, who both also have February birthdays.  Other birthday parties tend to overlap, so this year we decided to have one big one!  We chose Chuck E Cheese, and it was the most fun birthday party we had ever been to!  There was games and tons of play gyms, pizza, cake, and some freaky mouse who sang to us!  It was so much fun, we want to go back for all of our birthdays!

Mommy is a slacker!!

Hey y'all.  I'm sure you've noticed there hasn't been much activity on the blog for the past few months.  We have been really busy, and have lots of fun stuff to share with you!  Mommy has been slacking on updating our fun, little blog, but we've been on her to update it!  We thought we would start where we left off... last February (geez that was awhile ago!).

We went to Birmingham, AL where Mommy ran her first half marathon.  We got to stay in a hotel, and it was AWESOME!!  We got to jump on the bed, stay up late, and even slept in the same bed.  We loved it!!!  It was freezing outside, but we got to see Mommy at the finish line as well.  We love traveling!
