Always Fun Going On

Of course we have fun no matter what, and it continued through the winter.  These were taken before school one day.  We were looking our best, and ready to go learn for the day.  Avery continued to do well in pre-school, and Berlin was always the leader in her class.  She likes to help the teacher, and even showed her new teacher the ropes, which she was very grateful for, on her first day.  Berlin told her everyone's name, where everything was, and what items belonged to who.

More Birthday Parties

Birthday party season is usually pretty busy for us, but one really fun one in particular was for our friend Silas.  He was born the day after Avery, and is a cool little dude.  He had a carnival themed party, and as you can tell, silliness was had.  Avery decided a high chair was appropriate, and got stuck.  Berlin got a tattoo (hee hee), and played dress up with Daddy.  It was so much fun!

Avery Turns 4!!!

February 25, 2012 was the big day that Avery turned 4!  It was a fun day!  Avery had a birthday party with two of his other friends, Aydan and John David, who both also have February birthdays.  Other birthday parties tend to overlap, so this year we decided to have one big one!  We chose Chuck E Cheese, and it was the most fun birthday party we had ever been to!  There was games and tons of play gyms, pizza, cake, and some freaky mouse who sang to us!  It was so much fun, we want to go back for all of our birthdays!

Mommy is a slacker!!

Hey y'all.  I'm sure you've noticed there hasn't been much activity on the blog for the past few months.  We have been really busy, and have lots of fun stuff to share with you!  Mommy has been slacking on updating our fun, little blog, but we've been on her to update it!  We thought we would start where we left off... last February (geez that was awhile ago!).

We went to Birmingham, AL where Mommy ran her first half marathon.  We got to stay in a hotel, and it was AWESOME!!  We got to jump on the bed, stay up late, and even slept in the same bed.  We loved it!!!  It was freezing outside, but we got to see Mommy at the finish line as well.  We love traveling!

Snow Day

Our winter has been really mild this year. It has only snowed 3 times and never sticks. Today when it snowed, we decided to take advantage and play in it. We were soaking wet and cold when we came back in, but warmed up with some hot cocoa!

Potty Training, Here I Come!

Well, the time has come for me to put my diapers away and enter the wonderful world of potty training. My potty contract at school has been signed and pull ups purchased. This weekend was my first trial. I spent most of the weekend bottomless, and after a few accidents, I peed in the potty! There were loud cheers and chocolate. Hmmmm, maybe there's some advantage to this potty thing after all. I got Bailey in on the action and as you can tell, she's thrilled to be involved. Avery has been my biggest supporter. He's such a good big brother! This is only the beginning, so I'll keep you updated on my milestones. I know y'all love to hear about poop :)

Love,

My Trip to the ER

Happy New Year! I hope you all are having a fabulous start to 2012!  I'm having a great time, so far, don't get me wrong, but I did have an unfortunate incident.  My brother was pulling me onto my parent's bed by my hands, and I got pulled a bit too hard.  After a little too much crying, icing, and refusing to move my arm, my Mommy took me to the ER to get checked out.  I'm so small it could have been broken!  The doctor was very nice.  He said I have a cool name, and ordered me an X-ray.  I was pretty entertaining!  I held very still while the nice lady took a picture of my arm, but pointed to my wrist and my elbow, so she knew where to get a nice shot.  She said, "I'm going to take a picture of your wrist."  I said, "this wrist right here?" and pointed to my wrist.  Ha!  I'm funny.  Turns out, it was just a strain.  To celebrate, I sang Happy Birthday all the way home.  The next day, I was back to my old self!  I hope I don't make any more visits to the ER.  Even though I had fun, I'd rather play somewhere else :)

Until next time, Happy Birthday!
