Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday to me! It's hard to believe that one very short year ago, I came into this world! Have I changed much?!? What a great year it has been. I am lucky to have such a wonderful family that loves me so much. I am looking forward to today. I am having a party at school, then Mommy said she made me a surprise for dinner tonight. I can't wait to see what it is.

I am excited to see some of you this weekend at my official birthday party at Grandma's house. I promise to be on my best behavior (maybe) and look my adorable self, as always.

Saturdays with Dad

Saturdays are my special days with my Daddy. Mommy has had to work lately, so Dad and I spend the entire day playing. We have a blast! We play ball, hide and go seek, peek a boo, chase, and lots of other games. By the time I wake up from my afternoon nap, Mommy is home and then I get to hug and snuggle with her. It's a good deal for me, I get so much love!

Peek a Boo!

Peek a boo is one of my favorite games. When Mommy puts me down for a nap, we have a fun game of peek a boo before I finally settle down. You wouldn't think it would make me tired, but it's our ritual.

Speaking of sleeping, my parents have informed me I talk in my sleep. Last night they could hear me talking through the monitor. When they came to check in on me, I was talking but sound asleep! They said I was adorable. I'm not sure what I was talking about.... probably about my day. Or maybe I was talking with my friends. I had a playdate with Alyssa earlier in the day... maybe I was still talking with her. I don't remember, I was asleep!

I'm going to go play now. I'll write about my adventures again soon.

Peek a Boo part 2

Ut oh!

I can almost say ut oh! I say ut ah. See? I'm getting close! I practice a lot and my parents try to encourage me to talk more. Daddy is also working on "okay", but I'm not there yet. No is still my favorite word.

Despite the tubes in my ears, I got an ear infection this week. It's different now. The fluid leaks out the tubes, so it doesn't hurt as bad. And I don't have to take antibiotics, I take them as drops instead! That is much better, the antibiotics do nasty things in my diapers. It's almost all cleared up, so I am feeling much better.

Other than that, I am up to my usual antics. I'm getting into everything and keeping my parents on their toes! They love it, we have so much fun together!

I must go take a nap now. I'm rubbing my eyes and feeling sleepy, so Mommy says it's time. Talk to you all soon!
